Frequently asked questions

1. Why choose MyAccidentSolicitor?

MyAccidentSolicitor is a trading name of Davies & Gribbin Solicitors. For years, we have been one of the leading personal injury solicitors and have built a first class reputation through our previous successes.

We are regulated by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority (SRA) and are accredited by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), so you can be sure that you will receive the highest standards of service at all times.

2. How much will I have to pay?

NOTHING - if your claim is successful, you will receive 100% of your compensation and we will recover all our costs from the insurers who pay your accident compensation.

3. What if I lose my claim?

We operate on a No Win No Fee basis by way of a Conditional Fee Agreement (CFA) so, in the unlikely event that we don't win your case, you still won't pay our legal fees... and there are no other hidden charges!  We only take on your claim if we believe it has a strong chance of winning.

4. How much compensation could I get?

Without knowing the precise extent of your injuries, it's impossible to say. Our 'claims calculator' illustrates typical awards for your injury but this should be taken only as a guide.

Any compensation awarded to you could also include any loss of earnings or costs of any medical treatment.

If your injuries are the result of a car accident, your compensation may also include the cost of vehicle replacement, repairs, recovery and storage, retention of your no-claims bonus and retention of your insurance excess.

5. Will I deal with you directly?

ABSOLUTELY - when you make an personal injury claim, your details arrive at the desk of one of our personal injury specialists, who will then call you back and assess your chances of success.

Beware of the hundreds of claims management companies that will offer to handle your claim for you. They are simply middlemen who charge solicitors (like us) a large fee for referring your claim and they usually have no legal training.

6. What if I decide to cancel my claim?

If, after assessing claim, it looks like you are unlikely to win your claim, we will close your case and you won't have to pay anything. However, if your claim has already begun and you decide not to continue for another reason, we may have to charge you for the work done on your claim so far.

7. How soon can my claim be started?

Once we receive your claim, we will contact you within 1 working day for a few more details. As soon as the call is complete and we believe you will win your claim, we will begin work on it immediately.

The fastest way to make a claim is to complete our online claim form.
